Bega riverbanks
Water, bridges and greenery offer a slower way to explore. Choose a stretch of the Bega rather than trying to cover the entire riverbank at once.
A different view of the city
The promenade takes you away from the palace-lined squares. Trees, bridges and reflections create a changing sequence of views. The central stretch can be combined with the cathedral and nearby parks.
Choose the length of your walk
Pick a bridge as your starting point and another as your turnaround. For a short outing, stay on one bank; for a longer walk, cross only on bridges and check access to lower paths. The map pin is a reference point on the promenade, not its full extent.
Photography and river transport
Stop for photographs without blocking cycle paths. A waterbus can complement a visit, but check current timetables and operation with the transport provider. The illustration on this site does not mean a boat is running now.
